Link errors - hidden characters in my marketplace URL

My Square page is set up for taking charitable and non-charitable donations for an alumni association.

We advertise the link in our newsletter and various emails.  When copy/pasting my URL, or creating PDFs, some metadata gets hidden in the URL, making it a non-working link.  Example:

Our page is https://squareup.com/store/triton-corporation

But clicking on that link when I've send it in an email, or in a PDF, a browser attempts to go to

https://squareup.com/store/triton%E2%%80%90corporation   --And results in a 'no page found' error.

How can I surpress these hidden characters?  Ought I remove the hyphen to fix the problem?  I thought a hyphen was an allowable character in a URL.  Thanks for any help you might provide.

@Jax - Apologies for the delay in following up, and sorry to hear about the issue.

From the sound of it, it seems like more of an issue with the products you're using to build your newsletter or send your emails, as opposed to the hyperlink. I haven't run into anything like this before in the past, and I don't think that a hyphen should be a problem, as it's quite common to find in URLs.

To get going, I was able to successfully email the link of your site using Gmail. Having said that, sometimes applications will automatically hyperlink a site, but necessarily correctly. Have you highlighted the text and double checked the hyperlink? What are the exact applications you are using?

Maybe I can test it out on my side. Looking forward to hearing from you!
