My new Ipad( square purchase) is locked with T-mobile sym card. Not a t-mobil customer.
Do you want to use cellular service and not wifi? If you want to use wifi you should be good to go. If you need to use cellular and don't want to use T-mobile you should do a return and buy the iPad with your carrier.
