Recurring Invoices Trouble

Why do recurring invoices set to draft on a credit card every month, not process on its own... Seems like if the the credit card declined once..  the recurring charge stops but not sure if this is the reason why... Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey @AAMMA - If you set up Recurring Invoices with a customer's Card on File and that card is past its expiration or fails for another reason, we then automatically fall back to sending an invoice where the customer can enter new card information. Your customer can still pay the regular invoice through the normal invoice pay page where they will also have the option to save that new card on file. When the new card is saved on file, you will get an email that the invoice was paid with that updated card, but you will have to select that new payment option in the series to use it again for future charges.
