Split transaction cash/credit, but then credit recepit shows full amount

I had a customer split a transaction with $20 cash and the rest on a card.  I split the transaction and tendered the $20 and the customer paid the rest with the card but I didn't catch that the entire total was charged to the card.

 

If I check the Square transaction log there is no reference to the $20 cash tender, even though it printed a receipt and there is a receipt number (C5tg).  The only transaction in the list is the full $48.91 charge to the card.

 

We frequently do split transactions and this is the first issue that we have noticed is many years.  Has this happened to anyone else?

Eeek 😬 , kinda strange. I checked with my Team and there's been no recent reports of Split payments acting wonky! 

 

Might be worth surfacing to CS so they can take a closer look and find out what happened:  squ.re/contact
