Square app for Android not allowing download?

We recently acquired a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 running Andoid 4.2.2 with the impression (from Square's own website) that we would be able to use the square POS app, but it is stating that we are unable to download due to device incompatibility issues. Any knowledge of why that would occur? How can we get this app to download, or do we need to switch to Paypal (which allowed us to download the app just fine)?

Sorry to hear about the trouble. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is compatible with a couple of our card readers and you should be able to go forward with downloading the app.

If you're still encountering any issues, I'd suggest giving this list of troubleshooting tips a run-through. After that, if those tips didn't do the trick — please let our Support Team know and they'll take a deeper look at specifics.
