Why am I unable to process payments on my device?

I've been unable to process any transactions. Each time once the card is approved, it automatically re-loads and cancels the payment. 

I've trouble-shooted per instructions from square support, such as re-booting my phone, uninstalling, re-installing my app, allowing permissions, etc. I went through the whole list. I'm still unable to process anyone's card. 

I have a show next weekend. Anyone else deal with this and fixed it? Or suggestion for another credit card payment system that you like? Thanks!

I am so sorry to hear about this @fremont - that is not typical at all. The only time I have heard of this happening is when the phone or tablet being used to operate the Point of Sale app was not up to date.

What device are you using and what operating system?

I updated the software, but turns out my phone is obsolete. 😞

That didn't even occur to me. Android 4.0 - time for a new phone!
