Epson printer TM-M20 is connected but not printing

Hello people, I hope you are well.


First I want to clarify that, although there is a similar post to this here: https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/Troubleshooting/Ethernet-printer-connected-but-not-printing/m-p/6... Star printers are referenced there, so I decided to create another so that the information is not confused because they are different companies.


As I noticed, the Epson TM-20ii printers are compatible with Square as long as they are used in iOS devices in specific iPads. (https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/General-Discussion/Support-for-new-receipt-printers/m-p/43642) 


I have an iPad Air 2, and I just downloaded version 4.80 of Square App, then connected the Epson TM-20ii printer to the network through an ethernet cable. The app recognizes it and connects to it, the problem is that it is not printing receipts and I do not know why.


Any suggestions?

Hello @dec309! Very sorry to keep you waiting for a reply! If you haven't already please go through these printer troubleshooting steps before connecting your printer to your iPad again.

 

If you're still having trouble please reply here with the model number of your printer. That number could be on the base of the printer, or at the back. With that information we can escalate this to our engineers!
