My account has been hacked that you send payment to me too. How do I change

The account # you have on file has been hacked that account # no longer exists..I need to change how do I do this?

What do you mean when you say your account # doesn't exist? From our end, we can see that you still have a Square account.

 

Let's make sure your account is safe. (As a side note, Square's system has never been breached. Once you've taken the proper precautions, you can resume accepting payments securely through Square.)


These are the steps we recommend to secure your email and Square accounts:

1. Change your password to your email.
2. Check your filters to ensure that emails from Square are not set to be filtered out of your inbox.
3. Sign into your Square Register account https://squareup.com/login and navigate to the account icon in the upper right of your Dashboard and select 'Account & Settings' from the drop-down, change your Square account password.
