Square Appointments - SMS Reminders

I was doing a test appointment on Square appointments and I changed the settings to send a reminder appointment notification via SMS 1 day before their appointment. I did all that, ensured that there was a cell phone number in the client's name but once 24 hours before the appointment hit I never got a reminder text. 

 

Am I doing something wrong? Any tips?

You didn't do anything wrong. When an appointment is made, it is made with the settings that were in effect at the time. Changing the settings will not change the appointments already scheduled; to do so would potentially cause a ton of confusion for customers and employees.

 

But now that you've made the change, any future appointments made will have that setting enabled.
