It sounds like you are referring to an older offer we had. When we announced the Square contactless and chip card reader in mid-August, we also announced the limited time offer for qualified customers to receive a free or a $49 reader with rebate.

The offer ended on October 1st 2015, but the Square contactless and chip card reader is still available to all customers for $49. I'm sorry for the confusion, but there's no way for me to extend the promotion.
