Feature requests for Invoices

The title of this thread was updated from its original title: “Invoices”

 

 

Please update invoice features!!!! 

 

- Pay invoices little by little. Some customers can’t pay all at once. 

- Split bill so they can pay with multiple options. 

- Merge invoices so customer can see one total. 

- Invoice shown on customer profiles under activity details. 

- More design flexibility. Want it more on one page. 

- Ability to print all unpaid invoices 

 

 

Have lots of ideas, that will help everyone!

I'll share your interest in all of these features with our Invoices team!

 

You might not have noticed yet but you can actually view your customer's Invoices from your Customer Directory.

  1. Sign in to your Square account online.
  2. Click Customers.
  3. Click on a customer's name to see more information. 
  4. If you've sent that customer an invoice you'll see a section called Invoices. You can click View Invoices to see your customer's current invoices, or Send Invoice to send a new one:

This is Great!  Must have been a recent addition.  I do see one issue.  I have multiple locations and when I hit the Send invoice button form the customer directory it defaults to my first location on the list.  If I want a different location I have to start the invoice form invoice and not the customer directory.   

 

Other than that this is a great addition.

Yes this is a new feature @RHatch! ! I checked in with the Invoices team and you're right, to switch locations before sending an invoice you'll need to start from the Invoices tab, for now. I shared your comment with them though so if it's possible to edit the location for an invoice from the Customer Directory tab in future I'll update this thread to let you know!
