Emailed receipts

I had a customer make a credit purchase. I do not offer paper receipts. Without prompting text/email for receipt it automatically genetated an email which went to the customers sisters work email??how is that possible

Is there a chance that she was using her sister's credit card?

Hi @Mangiamo - We've also seen the case where a customer inputs an email address other than their own (or they're using a family member's card) in a previous purchase and then that email & card get tied together for future transactions. The sister can click the "unlink" button at the bottom of the receipt to unlink her email address!
