POS continues to freeze.

continues to freeze up,  we turn the iPad off.  we turn it back on. Then we enter a transaction, go to charge, and it freezes up.

Some things to try :

 

  • Check your wifi, Sometimes the router or cable modem needs a reset. This could also cause issues with receipt printers and cash drawers.
  • Try a different iPad in the same location to see if the problem is only with one iPad.
  • If it is only the one iPad, try removing the Square App and reinstalling.
  • If all else fails, it could also be a poblem with the iPad itself. Take it to your nearest apple store for diagnostics.
