how to change the message in the shopping cart note field

I did it once before but there is a way to add a message when customer is in the shopping cart.  I want to be able to put something like  - list who referred you in there so the person referred will get their credit.  I can't figure out how I did it the first time. and I need to change the message 🙂

It sounds like you're looking to edit your Pickup Settings. Follow these steps to edit your instructions to your customer:

  1. Head over to your Online Store tab in your online Square Dashboard.
  2. Click Settings in the upper right corner of your screen.
  3. Scroll down to Instructions to Customer.
  4. Edit the message in the text field.
  5. Click the blue Save button to apply the change.
