Marketing to lapsed customers, I want their coupon...

When given the option to send a discount to a lapsed customer, it would be great to be able to let them take $2 off or 25% off any one item in my store. Currently I have to choose the item to discount (idk what item will make the customer come back) or I have to give them a discount off the whole transaction. This really truly only applies for the percentage, which I would prefer to use beacuse my items are so low priced already that $1 off is the same as 25% off but 25% off is more impressive, I think..

After reading your post I went ahead and tested this out for myself, and I see what you mean. As a consumer/coupon hoarder, I agree that percentage discounts are the ones I save and try and use more often.

I will go ahead and pass this feedback along to our product team. I don't think its on our road map currently, but if anything changes I will make sure to update this thread.
