Preview Recurring Invoices

I like to email my recurring invoice clients a "sample" of the email they will receive ahead of their first payment. How can I generate a sample invoice of theirs? Must I generate a separate generic example? Also, I do not see a "Preview" button on reurring payments. Thank you.

Hi @drjimharris

The preview option should be at the top of the screen when you click "Create Recurring Series".

While you can preview the invoice from your Dashboard, there isn't a way to send this preview to your customers.

A workaround that comes to mind would be to send them a screenshot of a test or sample invoice that you've created so they have a heads up on what to look for or expect when you send the real thing.

What was the reasoning behind sending a sample? Was it for security or was it mainly to let your customers know what to look for in advance?
