Process payments when app freezes?

I'm travelling and our local community theater is having trouble with the Square app. It's just freezing. We've tried resetting the iPad, redownloading the app, everything I can think of.

 

In case all else fails, is there any way to process payments directly in the dashboard? Any other ideas?

 

We have verified internet connectivity by getting to other websites.

 

My only other thought, if nothing else works, is to record the sales info from the cards and process them later when we get things working.

An update: My collegue at the theater says she was able to contact Square support, and determine that someone stopped an update of the app before completing it. They were able to help her reinstall and all is well. Thank you, Square!
