The title says it all. I submitted this a year ago, still no movement.

 

What the heck? No individual gets turned off by a "Buisness Name" line in the checkout... but every Buisness On Earth treats me like I don't actually do B2B sales!

 

Cmon Weebly! I love you! You are the ones who taught me how easy it is to drop that line into the checkout shipping address and billing address! Just make it a priority please!

Allow Editing in the Checkout Cart

I have multiple issues with the Weebly Checkout cart. 

1. the visual icons used are not industry standards

     -small blue card next to the paypal icon, does not communicate that I take all major credit cards       clearly, I would love to be able to create a work around my self by being able to insert a small banner within the cart that would contain images of my accepted payments

2. my cart does not work AT ALL on a phone at the moment. The bug with the cart on phones has been reported for over 6 months

  - there is no workaround for this per se, but I would like to be able to add additional info text to the check out screen that says something to the effect of "if you have any experiences checking out, please contact me directly and I can assist you" . There is currently no way to add anything to customize the checkout cart system. 

 

Enabling the ability to customize the cart is greatly needed.

 

Credit Card / Chrome Compatiblity

Received this feedback below from one of our customers: 

 

"The credit card form is not compatible with Chrome's auto fill that is silly.

Most of the stuff I buy small websites rather than amazon and co is because Chromes makes it painless to fill address and credit card info.

Removing the default value which is filled with "0000" could fix that."

I need my customers to input two different addresses. A pick up address and a drop off address.

 

and a special request section that they can fill out when they pay for a delivery

Skip Payment Billing On Checkout!!!

I would like the user to have to skip the billing process without paying anything online. Payments should only made in cash through face to face. Please add this minor feature weebly. thx 

Add Company Name When Purchasing

I use weebly for my work website and we have recently updated to have our online shop. Unfortunatley there is nowhere for companies purchasing from us to include their company name (which is a pretty big thing for us). The ability to put this in or even add some customizable deatures to the checkout form would be amazing!

Why doesn't the cart show the traditional Credit Card Icons?

I accept all forms of credit card through both SQUARE UP and PAYPAL. Upon checkout this is what visitors see:

That reads to most people like my shop only accepts paypal. 

Why doesn't weebly use the traditional credit card icons that people are familiar with like the ones below for our shopping carts?

It isn't as if you guys don't have the space.  Please put the option for displaying traditional credit card icons in the shopping cart { like all major online retailers } so I will have less occurances of abandoned cart issues because of miscommunication about what forms of payment I actually accept. It would be a really quick fix. Thanks.

Add more products at checkout [Please read]

I would love a feature when as you check out, there would be a section where you could ask customers if they would like to add ______ to their order.

 

For example, you are purchasing a t-shirt. As you checkout, it says "Would you like to add a sticker to your order for 50 cents?"

 

I think that could be a great feature and it could also be used for warranties and product insurance.

 

For example, you are purchasing a printer. As you checkout, it says "Would you like to add a 4 year warranty to your order for $20?"

Business/Company Name Field available at checkout

Hi,

I have just been going through our billing history, trying to the payment for one of our sites last year. I can't tell which payment relates to which site, as payments do not contain the name of the site being hosted - nor is there anywhere to list our VAT number (which is pretty important to us to make the expense deductible). I think these would be easy improvements to make in the billing system. Thanks!

 

An In-Between Checkout Page

I would like to be able to add a single step in the checkout process where I can upsell anyone looking to finish their purchase.  Example: Customer puts Product A in their shopping cart.  As they checkout, they get an additional page that asks if they want to donate to my company's charity of choice (although this could really be any product or products we wish).  Their donation is then added to the final payment screen.

 

This would make a huge difference on our ability to increase sales and support charities of our choice.

Hi. We are really wondering how Weebly can offer this to their own clients in Germany but we can’t offer this service to ours.

 

Only 34 % of the clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (~100 Million People) - have a credit card or PayPal.

Direct-Ueberweisung, or PayPal PLUS is a major feature.

 

By law, it’s an obligation to offer one cost-free payment to the customer.

 

Would be nice if you could work on it. I have already e-mailed David Rusenko and to Dan Veltri about this issue.

 

It we be also nice, if you could give me contact details of your European Manager in Berlin.

Edit the Cart Page

Please please allow us to edit the shopping cart page. I sell (mostly) one of a kind pieces, and set my inventory to reflect there is only one of each available, however I have had multiple instances in which two customers simultaneously try to purchase the same item. One transaction for one customer will process normally while the other transaction for the other customer will reject their credit card yet still show a pending charge on their end, and nothing on my end. Customers then try to complete the transaction multiple times and show multiple pending charges. Though I try to explain these charges are pending authorizations and will cancel in a day or two, it causes a lot of issues and stress. I'd like to be able add a note to the cart page to remind customers to only attempt to purchase once and if there are problems completing the transaction to contact me. Though I could add a note to the product description pages, many never bother to read those pages thoroughly before completing their purchase.

Personal Information Optional at checkout

As you may understand, people don't like to put much for personal information at checkout process. Now we are force for our clients to add their personal information, even the phone which is optional, is shown in a way that seems required for our clients to add.

 

Weebly please, can you make this optional for us ? Is driving our sales down.

Remove the "Ship To" during checkout for business who don't offer shipping!

My business is a brick and mortar only.  It is very confusing for people who place their orders online to pick up in my store.  The customer is FORCED to fill out the "Ship To" option even though I do not offer shipping.  Several times a month I am forced to call confused customers and explain that we do not offer shipping because when they see the option they believe that we do.  My products are baked goods that are unable to ship.  Thank you.

So for those of you who have on heard afterpay allows customer to break down their purchas einto fornightly payments instead of 1 lump sum  but you still get paid in 1 lump sum. Those that have added it to their websites not based on weebly obviously have had their slaes sky rocket so the sooner we get it the better! But we need to make it happen.

 

Like and comment so we can show weebly management just how much we desperately need it!

Creating your own thank you page after ecommerce purchas

Weebly this such a no brainer. I don't want to just customize the thank you page. I want to create my own thank page. There are too many after the purchase opportunties that we can create for more sales. Because if a person bought from you once they will buy again.

 

We could offer so many different upsales and other opportunites to our customers.

Bring Back the Old Checkout Page

The new checkout page that is currently up, makes customers have to fill out all their information before they can get a shipping quote.

On the old checkout page, all they had to do was select their provice from a dropdown menu and the shipping cost would show up. 

This new way of filling everything out has decreased sales and results in more carts being abandoned. 

Weebly users shouldn't have to pay AGAIN to upgrade their account just to have the abandoned cart feature when there wasn't an issue on the old checkout page.

Please bring it back!!!

Add an "Organization" field in the checkout process

Can you please add an "organization" field that is optional under the Personal Details portion of the checkout process?

 

My company is solely b2b, so it is important for us to easily identify who the company that places the order is.

Payment info - Change to 'Debit Card & Credit Card' Payments

At the moment on checkout, under 'Payment Information'... 'Credit Card' is only listed. This is a bit misleading and maybe off putting to some customers. Could this say 'Debit Card & Credit Card' and 'Debit Card & Credit Card Number' to be more user friendly to customers?

Multiple Coupon Codes

I think we should be able to apply multiple coupon codes to one order. 20% off for example and if you spend say $50 you get free shipping. Just hopping this will be avialable soon because it is very hard to compete especially this time of the year without offering some incentive.
