I love that Weebly saves automatically, because it helps if the computer shuts down, we lose power, I'm being blonde and click the wrong thing, etc. However, sometimes you do something and then want to smack yourself because you screwed something up. It'd be so awesome to have "save points" or an "Undo" button, to where you can make or undo changes until you hit that big 'ol publish button, then it flushes the save points. This way, even if something does happen, computer shuts down, whatever, if you haven't clicked "publish", you know the site saved a few save points up till that point, so you wouldn't worry so much if you clicked the wrong thing right before the apocalypse happened and you broke something

In other CMS platforms, the user has the ability to scroll through their image directory, so if you need an image again or on another page in the site, you can just reference it just like we already have the ability to do with files. Currently, as far as I can tell, the only way to reference a previously used image is to find it on the site and use the URL or to upload it again. Especially with photos, it would be nice not to have to keep the original files on a hard drive once they've been uploaded to the site. I've had a few times where i had to search through blog histories to find a file I needed a year later. If the image directory was easily available, I could have just selected the file from a list.

We manage client's website via Weebly's designer account platform which has been a really helpful tool. Once the App center was released for use on Weebly's regular websites, I immediately thought... THIS WILL BE GREAT FOR OUR CLIENTS. Unfortunately, I know there is no such app center available for designer accounts.
As a service provider our company is always looking for more effective and efficient ways to help our clients, and I know the app center would give us an enhanced edge and beef up our service palette to existing and future clients.
I think that we should be able to upload a font file (like a .ttf file), give Weebly a little time to process it, and then be able to use it in our site - or even better, throughout all sites on an account. It would certainly make having a consistient font between print and digital materials much easier. Maybe a Business plan feature...

Why not make it so we can choose different interface language for each site created in Designer Platform? At the moment you have to have the same language for all your sites. I am english but live in France so my clients are both french and english. Thanks.
Weebly has to create (or support someone creating one) a directory of designers. The websites people do on their own generally look pretty bad. Professional designers could help these people, and thereby improve the image of Weebly websites.
It's literally impossible to find designers who do weebly work. A directory would go a LONG WAY towards solving this issue.

I am working on the Designer Platform and having used ECWID for Commerce in the past, I decided to give the Weebly Store a try. Disappointed to find there is no way to even view the Shopping Cart without publishing the site, let alone perform an end-to-end test. "No problem" I thought ... "I will publish the site on a free Weebly domain just for testing" .. but no - that's not allowed on the Designer Platform.
So, it seems after chatting to Weebly Support that the only way I can do this properly (i.e. not expect my client to 'go live' with an untested Commerce Store) is to pay for a domain I dont actually want so I can publish there for testing.
This is not good enough, Weebly - please review the Commerce support on the Designer Platform and give us more, not less. Surely that's what we pay for? FYI .. ECWID provides a full end-to-end test facility with even its most basic packages.
Hello - I have your "Developer" Business plan for my client's website. They really thought we could use the "RTS" or "Real Time Shipping" calculator. Per my chat with your people, this isn't available currently to the Developer platform. How soon before it will be available? Thank you.
It would be cool to have a scrolling "what's New" element for the front page. It would have configuration options for what's included: blog post (header and small snippet), products (image and mane) and new Pages (For me that might be new tutorials or photos in specific galleries). We coud set expiration dates for the features to that they are automatically removed from the feed.
Social networking has become a huge part of building a brand. Along with that, niche social networking has become a huge thing, as people group together due to common interests or causes. Example, I own a roleplaying network that is basically "Facebook for Roleplayers". A friend of mine owns one for authors/writers to network with other people in the publishing field. I know many people that keep niche networks on their list of ways to contact them or see more about them. It'd be so awesome if Weebly's social icons system would let us add our own icon and link to add to the default ones.
Even better, so they'd match with the icons currently available, if we could specific a letter or two or generic icon to represent our custom social icon link. That way they'd all match and look professional.
Like, I'd love a little book to represent http://www.literarysocial.com, as since it would be for my author page, having my official bio marked there would be amazing. Having one as an A for an Amazon follow, or GR for Goodreads would be great as well. I'm sure there are a lot of people that could think of ways to use a custom icon generator to add to their social icons list.
As I sit in my studio working on yet another website design for one of my clients, a scary thought popped into my head.
What would be the impact to my business if Weebly ceased to exist? Admittedly, this is not the first time that I have contemplated this scenario, and I do have contingency plans should such a regrettable event occur. However, whenever you build a business on a platform that you don't own or control, there are risks and potential consequences to consider.
Until this community forum kicked off I considered myself to be just another Weebly subscriber, happy to complain when things go wrong, and content to continue doing my thing when they don't. Then, I realised, that as my business grows, so does my stake-holding in the continued success of Weebly.
The decisions that Weebly make impact many of us, and I for one would like to see Weebly consulting with its user base on a more strategic level, because my business, like many others, depend on Weebly getting it right now, and into the future.

Would like to see the app expanded for designer accounts. At the very least my clients should be able to use the existing Weebly app to login to their portal sites. I have loads of customers on my designer account who are complaining they can't login and edit/post using the Weebly app.
I've recently started testing the Weebly Designer platform. It simply doesn't work as well as the normal Weebly one. Items near the top can't be deleted or clicked, you have to move something else up there so that they move down and delete them there.
Things get glitchy, clicking on elements sometimes doesn't work and you have to refresh the entire page. It's definitely a hassle to work with. General updates to make it function a little less glitchy would be awesome
