For new users, one of the biggest challenges is knowing where to look for the actions you want to take. I have introduced several friends to Weebly and they beome frustrated as they search and then finally give up.
If you want to change the color of a font, you need to look under Theme, but how do you know that initially? Have a page that is organized like the index of a book, so you can easily find what what you're looking for.
I would like the ability to not only export my site but also to be able to import it too. For example, I have a Weebly Pro account and so does my wife. It seems silly to be paying tfor two accounts when I can merge them and manage all our websites from the one account. Sorry Weebly - but times are tough and it's money I could be investing in addons, etc instead.
I know the formatting might be messed up but if we could perhaps create the site, prepare it as much as we could by choosing the theme from the other account, etc and then import the site maybe that would work. Osviously blogs seem to be an anomaly and never carry across to site copies or exports for some reason. But it should be possible for the general pages.
What do you guys think? Has this subject been raised before?
I think it would be great to have a batch editing feature to change the price/discount a category/selection of products at once.
Currently, you either have to edit each product individually (and then again when the promo ends), or use a discount code. Editing it by batch would save time for the first option, and make it really clear to customers for the second.

it would be nice to see a scrolling banner option for the landing page. even better if the banner had the ability to be clicked on and then linked to another page in the site. this would be great for promotions and specials. and just overall more eye catching.
Perhaps I've overlooked this, but has anyone ever been able to edit an order after it has already gone through the payment process? I don't get notified of an order until after the payment has been completed. Sometimes a customer would like to "add on" to their order or change a size/qty. and I haven't been able to figure this out.
I went through the entire list and found that certain needed features like e.g.(image folder) might be useful for majority of the user base, many requests are basically one of a kind- tweaking the site for their own personal needs (.e.g secondary nav bar).
it seems to me that Weebly can have a section where these people post their needs and those who can perform that task can offer their services (either free or paid). Ofcourse, Weebly can add a disclaimer that once the CSS/html code is modified they may or may not not provide support.
Weebly is an amazing open platform. In addition to providing easy drag/drop features for a novice, they also offer doors (embed code, edit html/css functions) to people to create magic of their own.
I have many valuable & informative documents I would like to be able to have my new and prospective clients be able to automatically be given as a download after providng contact info on a Contact Form
Can weebly link to promote to send out a Free downloadable ebook or document on Contact forms! ?
Is there an easy way to control the order that photos are loaded into a gallery or slideshow? When I load multiple images they appear in the reverse order from the way they are "sorted" on my machine. (i.e. stored in alpha sort/photo number order but load in reverse order) When I load 10-20 photos it is difficult to reorder the photos correctly by dragging them.

Would be sweet to be able to hire an HTML/CSS pro to deal with small issues. Right now I like my site theme and all the work ive done to it (many, many hours) and in Checkout I've got black text on a dark brown background. I can't fix the standard way, need a Weeb pro to go in & fix and Weeb doesn't offer the service. Would be cool if they could hook me up with an affiliate or someone who would charge for the fix.

As the web content developer for my own business website and my church’s website, I need to get things done as quickly as possible when linking to other websites or existing files.
However, when Weebly recently updated their interface, they introduced usability issue for users trying to create links to URLs and files. This issue can lead to frustration and make things take longer for the user which is a problem for me because I perform these tasks fairly often.
I have described my own experience with these issues and offered some possible solutions for improving the overall user experience.
Link to URL (current experience)
I click the text where I want to create a link.
I click the “Link” icon.
A popup dialog appears and I click "URL.”
The dialog changes, allowing me to type in a URL.
At this point, I have to guess what I need to do. It is not intuitively obvious that I should click outside the box after entering the URL. It feels too much like clicking the "x" to close a dialogue ... in which case, I might lose my changes.
Note: Users often need reassurance that what they entered will not be lost - clicking an Accept button gives the user more control because they know without a doubt that their change will be saved.
Link to File (current experience)
I click the text where I want to create a link.
I click the "Link" icon.
A popup dialog appears and I click "File.”
The dialog changes, showing a list of currently uploaded files. The dialog is fixed width (and rather narrow) so it is IMPOSSIBLE to see the full names of the files. I often use long descriptive file names, so I have no way of knowing which file is which.
Because I can NO longer scroll down the list and quickly scan for the file name, I have to hover over each file to see its full name OR type a value into the search field. Both actions add time to my task and slow me down when I am on a deadline. This is very frustrating!
Additionally, I cannot request the file to come up in a different window. There is no checkbox to do so in the pop-up dialog.
Possible Solution: Link to URL pop-up dialog
Please make the Link and Unlink items look clickable – they look more like informational labels.
Please add and Apply and Cancel button so user explicitly know what to do once they’ve typed in the URL
Possible Solution: Link to File pop-up dialog
Please make the dialog expandable so users can increase its width to better see the full names of the file.
Provide a checkbox that users can check if they want the file to come up in its own window.

Weebly does not have a feature that allows putting a Trademark Symbol "®" after text on it's Web Pages, or a way to add superscript fonts in text lines. This is can be inserted only by copying from another source. It is important that Web Users be provided a way to do this for legal copyright reasons. If there is a way to do it, your support team could not advise how.

With all these tutorials, analyisics, 3rd party services, and how-to-videos and I try keep up as much as possible in order to have a good ranking on Google. But, since I'm not an expert, I know things could be better.
Idea: I would definity pay an extra fee if I could have programers, marketers, and other Weebly professionals look at my website and go over on what categories are my strengths and weaknesses. And from there I can work with the team and they could help me provide changes that I need to make my website even better.

Update and fix the bugs please. No one is going to use the mobile view to buy anything. It looks like a failed experiment with html 101.
Who is it for: anyone who owns a weebly store, or anyone that wants sales from the mobile view
What is wrong with it: It looks elementary, is full of bugs and not even compatible with many store designs weebly offers.
How should it be fixed: So that it doesn't look like garbage and make it compatible with stores that have selected side bar navigation, that doesn't even convert properly to a mobile site, leaves a large amount of white space to the left even though the mobile view isn't supposed to be alotting space for a side bar, the mobile view menu is under the three bars at the top.

Hello, the Weebly CMS platform Cookie Notification solution is not good for the EU Websites because it doesn't respect the EU Laws. Can you work on this ? You can find more information here: EU legislativa on cookies: http://ec.europa.eu/ipg/basics/legal/cookies/index_en.htm#section_2 EU legislation on cookies0 Use on EUROPA Guidelines and References Cookie Consent Kit Thank you! kind regards
This is regarding page names and links generated (automatically) when the names are in other than English.
When we give the titles for the pages (names shown in the main navigation menu) in languages other languages like say Arabic, Hindi or Malayalam it gives me a long, numeric link that doesn't make sense and is not nice to share.
