I have two types of online customers. The normal gal or guy (we call them "regular folks") who buys our product in small numbers - typically orders smaller than 5 units. Most of these are first time customers. Weebly covers their needs satisfactorily.
Our second customer is the retailer or reseller - these customers purchase in quantities no smaller than 10 units at a time for placement on their retail shelves. To be honest, these customers represent the bulk of our sales and we would like to provide them with a special experience. A "resellers area" where our wholesales customers can quicklyget in, place an order, make a few choices about shipping and get out - all without having to re-input their information. Currently the best I can do is set up a members/group area and then they will have access to..., well, currently... Nothing. I would need to setup an entire second site for this complete with another $300.00 outlay according to the tech I just spoke with. Unfortunately, I just don't have that cash available.

Resellers don't have access to plug-ins and other things that weebley direct customers do. If only I would have known that. Now I have to refund a client over $3600.00 in designing fees just to switch them to weebly direct. I look like a uter fool. I could have did everything in wordpress but thought this platform would be better for them. Not having access to all Weebly has to offer is a crime! My client wanted to use Simple Tables a plug-in that is free, but not for resellers platform! It's not availible at all. I can create tables in word? I guess they should use that to create thier website? Tables should be a no brainer for editing any website. Original html one has tables in it?
For my business, I rely highly on international reseller/retailers and many prefer to order online. Instead of doing a flat % off I give larger discounts for high quantities and depending on the item. Currently, I do this by either sending a PayPal invoice or adding products to a separate private page and adding special products there. Most resellers prefer using the website as to avoid wasted time for constant emails. The problem with what I do is there is no way to hide these products from regular users, making it possible for them to find them (using the search bar). Along with this, it is also much more time consuming to make new products for every product that is available to re-sellers.
