Having .html at the end of every page seems antiquated makes the site seem less professional. I understand that the pages will still load and redirect if the .html is left off, but it would look much cleaner if they could be left off completely.

I would also like to see the option to have the 'www' removed from the URLs. Rather than redirect the non-www version to the www version, I would like to have the opposite.

Better SEO: Web pages organised into folders

I know that you can sort pages into parent and child in the weebly editor, but this hierachy does not show in your sitemap - all the urls are in the same folder and there is no seperation.

For friendly urls, automatic redirects could be put in place to save the user typing out the whole url.

For example...

At the moment...

  • A URL looks like this example.com/subpage4, which looks nice but has no hierachy

It should...

  • Have the urls sorted into folders according to the page's parent and child folders and files, like example.com/page2/subpage4
  • And then have a redirect from example.com/subpage4 to example.com/page2/subpage4

Google understands these URLS better too.

Weebly needs this feature to match up to it's competitors.

We should be able to edit URL extension for each page.

For example:

On my store page the auto extension is "/store/c1/Featured_Products.html"

I dont want that. It doenst look professional at all for my customers. I think the same goes for all ofther Weebly stores.
