I love that Weebly saves automatically, because it helps if the computer shuts down, we lose power, I'm being blonde and click the wrong thing, etc. However, sometimes you do something and then want to smack yourself because you screwed something up. It'd be so awesome to have "save points" or an "Undo" button, to where you can make or undo changes until you hit that big 'ol publish button, then it flushes the save points. This way, even if something does happen, computer shuts down, whatever, if you haven't clicked "publish", you know the site saved a few save points up till that point, so you wouldn't worry so much if you clicked the wrong thing right before the apocalypse happened and you broke something
It would be great if we can customize our checkout fields to the way we want just like the contact forms and survey form elements. For instance, there are some fields that come by default such as Region and Zip which are pretty lame and unwanted for me, and so I would like to remove them from letting the user enter such information as they won't benefit me at all. Nevertheless, we should have the ability to also insert as many fields as we like in case there are some mandatory fields not placed in the default checkout. Furthermore, it would also be nice if we can have a tick box below the fields that states the user to save his/her credentials locally on their PC the next time they come to checkout so that they won't need to retype everything again. It would surely bring better sales for my business for minimizing and reducing the hassles. Last but not least, it would be super great if we can specify different rates for different shipping method services, ex: the user selects/picks from a drop-down "Express Shipping / Standard Shipping / Royal Shipping / Same-Day Shipping / International Shipping, and so on..." We can define these names to our own liking as well as set different charge fees for each. Well, nough said. If I had missed anything, then don't hesitate to comment below. All feedback is much appreciated.

In other CMS platforms, the user has the ability to scroll through their image directory, so if you need an image again or on another page in the site, you can just reference it just like we already have the ability to do with files. Currently, as far as I can tell, the only way to reference a previously used image is to find it on the site and use the URL or to upload it again. Especially with photos, it would be nice not to have to keep the original files on a hard drive once they've been uploaded to the site. I've had a few times where i had to search through blog histories to find a file I needed a year later. If the image directory was easily available, I could have just selected the file from a list.
I operate an online shop and have been quite pleased with the ease of use and ability to edit quickly when I'm busy.
Well, my customers have asked many times if they can look at past orders, see the tracking info, set up subcription payment plan etc. This would be a wonderful feature for those of us with online shops or business.
Google has a lot of ways to check if your site is relevant to the keywords that users are searching with. One of these ways is to check the URL path of images. For example, when a page would be www.example.com/candle.jpg, the image "candle" would appear in google images and also Google recognises this page "example.com" does something with candles, and therefore the pageranking will increase on the word "candle".
When you upload an image to your Weebly page, Weebly changes the name of the image you're uploading. So when I upload an image with the name "Candle.jpg", Weebly changes this to for eaxmple "2373015_orig.jpg". This is not the most optimal thing for SEO. Allthough it's possible to change the ALT tag of the image (you can make ALT="Candle"), it would be much better if the filename itself would be candle.jpg as well. This would realy fill google images with your images.
So for the best ranking in search engines it is absolutely necessary to be able to control the name of the images. I sugest Weebly is making it possible to control the filename for a better SEO!
I've talked to Weebly staff about this on numerous occasions and they tell me it's a feature people have requested. What "Mega Menu" means is that when you click on a menu header - a box opens up containing the entire menu navigation for that header. As websites become larger, it's a feature more clients are requesting. It makes large websites much easier to navigate. I've attatched some photo examples pulled from the web to demonstrate what I mean. :-)
I would love to be able to have my customers post reviews for each of my products. But, only if they have purchased the product It would have a star option and a place to enter a comment. Then a tag beside it that says, "Verified Purchase". Sorta like Amazon is doing. Then the star rating could then be shared along with the product to social media if the product is shared. This would make me so happy!

I have been waiting and waiting for this. When, oh when, will Weebly make this possible?? It is SO fundamental. Having to edit each element one at a time is extremely time-consuming. I have made at least 5 requests for it--2 by this feature request, and a few by phone. I notice that several other folks would like it, too, as there was at least one other post for it.
Seems to me it would work for several types of sites. Ours, for example, is a non-profit pet rescue organization, and we are constantly posting animals for adoption. As more pets are posted, some get deleted because they are adopted, and some need to be moved to a different spot on the page. I cringe every time this happens, which is very often. I am to the point where I am looking elsewhere for a company that has that feature. PLEASE make this happen soon! Thank you.

I'd like the ability to offer paid monthly subscriptions to customers. I feel that offering something like a pre-purchase for example a year, ends up being such a high value that people are deterred from the store.
My customers complain that they have to type in all of their information everytime they place an order which is normally once a week. If they have registered with the site or created a login, why can't their address, phone etc appear in the checkout area automatically.
