Add Inventory with Square Register

We just got the new square register this morning. I was getting ready to switch it out with our square stand, but it looks like the new square register doesn't allow you to add inventory like the square for retail option does. Am I missing something, or is the square register not able to do this?

Congratulations on getting the Square Register, very interested in what you think of it. Here is the help article with a ton of videos, Looks like at this time inventory is controlled by the dashboard.
