I cant alter fonts at all for my paragraphs.  I tried tx also, didn't work.  I also logged out.

I thought I would have to begin over, so added a new text box.  This one is locked on default also, no way to change it.  I am getting so frustrated with this.  it should be easy but i find it impossible.  Has anyone experienced this, and what did you do to resolve it?
