If you drag a text element onto your page as normal, you can then drag an image element to either the far right or left of the inside of the text element (or vice versa) and they will both automatically resize to be alongside each other.

Alternatively, you can use the free divider app in the app store. This gives you more control over the spacing between the elements and also allows you to add coloured lines between elements.
