SEO Descriptions & Site Name

Hey!

What I have realized is that my SEO descriptions are not showing up in google. I will write a description in the advanced SEO settings for a blog post, but what shows up in the google search engines is just the beginning of my blog post.

Also, my website name is showing up in my SEO titles, which just doesn't look good. For example, if my SEO title is "10 travel tips for Barcelona", what actually shows up is "10 travel tips for Barcelona - From Tourist 2 Local". If I could get rid of my website name , From Tourist 2 Local, that would be great.

Does anyone else have the same problem? Or does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks for the example, @Natle316. Did you add your SEO description after the post had already been published?

I did add it after on my older posts. However, on my newer posts, I add the SEO description before, and they are still not showing up in Google.
