URGENT: SSL Certificate and Chrome!!

When i try and navigate to my site using Chrome I get the following message:

Your Connection is not private:

Attackers may be trying to steal you information from www.kc-cottage.co.uk (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards).

NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED

My website under settings is set to be SSL for entire site

https://www.kc-cottage.co.uk

For now I will change this to be for checkout only as this is not a good thing to have for users who are navigating my site on chrome!

Updating to be checkout only does not help, it means users on chrome can not checkout without getting that error message! argh

The server presented a certificate that was not publicly disclosed using the Certificate Transparency policy. This is a requirement for some certificates, to ensure that they are trustworthy and protect against attackers.

We are experiencing getting the same except when we do not use www. before the domain name. See the difference in chrome: https://www.wegoshop.com and https://wegoshop.com . The SSL needs to be set up for both with www and without www.

However, we have discovered if we use without www. and without the (s) in the http is will redirect to the secured site: http://wegoshop.com. I believe though that it should work both ways and all ways.

Can you check your site again, @kc_cottage? I re-enabled your SSL certificate so it would configure again, and I don't see errors now with your site.

Hi Adam,

It would be nice if you can check with me prior to doing changes on my site....especially after the last time!

I have checked the site in chrome and i am still getting the same error. I will now turn off SSL as this is breaking my site and other peoples in this thread

Thanks

Suzanne

Sorry for the lack of warning, @kc_cottage. It's difficult to troubleshoot all of the causes without enabling SSL for the whole site. This is what I saw after doing so:

I'd guess that Chrome is loading a cached version of your site for you where some resources were still being served over non-SSL URLs.  Try doing this:

1. Clear your browser cache in Chrome

2. Enable SSL, wait a few minutes for it to finish configuring, then publish

3. View your live site

Make sure to not visit the site in between clearing your cache and turning on SSL.

I have re-enabled the SSL Certificate waited till it was confirmed within the site editor, cleared the cache for my site in chrome & visited the site, the SSL was only configured for checkout process so i could navigate the site and got the same error message when i tried to enter the check out funnel. I am turning off the SSL certificate again.....

Ok, thanks for trying. Have you contacted our support team about this yet? I'd recommend contacting them - if there's something that needs fixing with your certificate they can triage that with our engineers to fix:
