Using HTML to set Category Image Size

Can someone help me set my category images to always be at a 1:1 ratio (since the images are square)? I was able to set the product images through the store settings, but not the category and subcategory images. just need to know where to insert code, and what the code should be.

Site is: MystiqShop.com, and the issue is visible if you go to Jewelry. It takes you to a category page, where the subcategories for jewelry are not square.

Sorry for the delay. Were you able to get this sorted out? I followed your directions, but those sub-categories look like squares to me.

Hello, and thanks for getting back to me! Actually I gave up, and I erased the category box on MystiqShop.com, and instead built what you're looking at by using the title and image items. The "jewelry" image now links to a page that I made in similar fashion, by using the title and image items. If you could help me sort this out with code, so I wouldn't have to do this in the future, I'd be eternally grateful!
