I thought the little card stripe reader was free. It is not. Just an inconvenience, onward and upward.

Hey there @digisyn -

The first magstripe reader on the account is for free. Any other reader after that would have to be purchased, unless you purchase it from a retail location.

Readers purchased from a retail location come with a redemption code. Use this site to find a retailer near you.
