Custom confirmation emails for purchased

As I understand it now, there is only one auto confirmation email you can set for your store, when someone purchases a product. My product catergories are diverse and therefor I would like to be able to customize the confirmation email wording to reflect the item purchased.

Is this possible and I've somehow missed it?

I'm looking to be able to edit the wording on the store email > order confirmation email, for particular products or even categories. Right now it seems as though I only have one confirmation email I can set up, that applies to anything someone buys. I sell a service so need to put unique information in the email that pertains to the product.
