Can I still use the credit card swipe function if my chip reader runs out of power ?
We're having a long event tomorrow and I was wondering if I can still use the swipe function if the chip reader runs out of power before the end of the day. I want to avoid using the keypad.
yes. if there is no chip reader connected you can swipe a chip card with the added liability though since you didn't read a chip card with a chip reader.
