I cannot find the notes field either. It is not on the transaction, the receipt, or the .csv file, and should be found somewhere...?

You should be able to find your notes on the Square Dashboard! If you tap on the sales tab you should see a new set of options towards the top of your screen. Select Transactions and you should see a new drop down list with all of the payments you've taken. Click on the card and an pop will appear on the right side of your screen with your notes!
