I have the reader fee set up to charge customers. Obviously I do not want this to apply to a cash transaction. Is there a way to have the fee not calculate on a cash transaction other than turning off the fee every time?
I don't know how you have your fee you are charging the customer for credit cards setup. If you are using a tax in Square it will go to all transactions regardless of payment type so you would have to turn it off on cash transactions.
Also, make sure it is legal in your state to pass the credit card processing fees on to your customer as it is illegal to do so in many states.
