Duplicate Customers appear when I enter customer last name for a charge

I'm using laptop to log customer charges into Square.  I go to "Take a Payment" and then I start typing in the customer last name (which is in my database).  As I begin typing in the customer last name, duplicate customers appear in the drop down.  Why is this?  I know for a fact that there are no duplicate customers in my system.

Have you been adding the same customer to multiple payments? Or is this happening any time you add a customer?

Any time I add a customer for a payment, his/her name appears in the dropdown twice when I begin typing the name.

Kassi,

 

Good morning and thank you for your e-mail. 

 

I checked the system this morning and did not see any dups.  I conferred with my colleague and she saw no dups as well.

 

If they recur, I'll send you a screenshot.  Maybe Square fixed the problem?
