Having to deal with reports.

So I want to know whether the item summary report will include the $ totals of the Modifiers that were involved with that specific item.

For example, Chicken Platter is $10 and the Side Rice Modifier is $2. Will the item sales total report $10 or $12

I am currently making my menu on the dashboard for my restaurant and deciding on how to set it up in the pos.

Your item sales report will show both the total sales of the item and the variation costs. The variations will show on lines below the main item.

As for modifier sales, you'll need to look at a Modifier Sales report, also found in the Reports section of your dashboard.

If you want a report that shows both Item Sales and Modifier Sales you can always create a custom report showing the two. Both reports will be in the same custom report to save you clicking and loading time, but will not be combined into one big data dump.

The custom report does not have a modifier report. It has the item report.
