need to know if the ipad im purchasing for my square stand required cellular data or just wifi capability?
Wifi is all you need aslong as you have wifi in your business. Make sure you get the current iPad and not a Pro or mini, they don't fit.
If WiFi is available at your location, then that is all you need. If there is no WiFi you'll need the cellular model.
