I am transitioning from Shopify and my website must be re-built. However I have a customer needing shipping out of state. How can I do this is Square POS? Add the flat shipping rate to my POS? I also need to back out the sales tax on this one item.

Have you created your Online Store yet? This has shipping options available for you to send products to your customers.

Or are you looking to add shipping costs to orders from your Point of Sale?

Website is down until we get it rebuilt. Shopify would not let me transition it.

So I will need to ship via POS until it is available.

Not helpful at all, the article linked above mentions nothing about how to set shipping in Square POS, and after a half hour of scouring the site I can't find this extremely basic answer anywhere! Why couldn't you have included a helpful response for future customers having this same issue?
