print kitchen tickets

We recently purchased a square stand and have the restaurants plus subscription. What is the easiest way to setup a printer that prints tickets to the kitchen without knowing if there is an ethernet connection in the kitchen? Would we need to do a wireless or usb receipt printer? I looked at the kitchen printer but it looks like that must be connected via ethernet.

It sounds like you haven't spotted our handy compatibility tool - this is the source of truth for all hardware questions.

If you have the Square Stand, you can view your kitchen printer options here. Looks like both the Star Micronics SP742MU and SP712MU are USB options that would be compatible with your Square Stand. There is not a Bluetooth-enabled kitchen printer that is compatible with the Square Stand, @51sycamore.
