Why can't we generate our own passcodes for timecard any longer!?!? It's stupid and confusing for my staff...seriously, why change something that works perfectly!?!

When I set up Square payroll with timecards a couple months ago I was able to choose a passcode for each employee...something easy for them to remember. My employees already have too much to remember, door codes, alarm codes, ipad lock codes...they certainly don't need a random # for their timecard. Now I have a new employee and I'm not able to choose the passcode, only able to automatically generate.

Is there a work around for this?

Hey @PintSize, sorry for the confusion with this. Passcodes for Payroll are automatically generated and cannot be customized. We are tracking this request and we will announce any updates as they become available. I'll be sure to share your experience with our Payroll team and let them know that being able do customize the code would help streamline your employee's needs.
