Is there any way to group items on a kitchen ticket?

We want our items to print grouped together by category rather than the order that customer enters it. We work around this by using coursing for in person tickets, but we mainly use QR and online ordering and it'd be very helpful for burgers on one order to be grouped together, apps be grouped together, fries, etc.

@urbanlodge I see what you are trying to do.  It looks very similar to station printing where you would have one station for fry, one for sautee, one for salad, etc. etc.  Grouping things on tickets is pickle since back in the beginning of time and it is that way across many platforms.  The easiest work around would be to have a tablet for each "station" and then have that station print only the categories you want.  So lets say you have appetizer, burgers, fries, wraps...you would need 4 tablets and have each one be a station on the kds (I forgot to mention you would have to be using square KDS for this to work)  That way you could really separate things.  With kds moving to android you should be able to do this affordably also.  But there isn't a good way to reorder items on tickets to print a certain way except to look at the all day counts for your people.

We prefer to use the printed tickets and don't have the space for multiple printers. We also don't want to confuse orders with items being completed at different times. Is this a possibility for the future?
