The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Contactless and chip reader - manual entry??

I just got the new contactless chip reader as I upgraded my iPhone and no longer have a jack for a reader.

Can I enter cards manually if they do not have a chip? I have a few clients who like to use their HSA cards and that don't have a chip.

You should be able to manually enter any card that Square supports, chipped or not. But remember that there are increased fees and chance for charge backs with manually entered transactions.
