Inventory

I updated my inventory online went back and tried to order said out of stock, all was good. Then the next item didnt work and original item changed back. Now I cant get either item to be out of stock, why??

Just a quick clarifying question; are you trying to edit your inventory with Square for Retail? If so, this may be a helpful resource when it comes to making stock adjustments. It's also helpful to remember that inventory adjustments can take a few minutes to update in real time - are you still seeing the discrepancy from your side when re-trying to order?

I had to go thru my dashboard to edit the inventory. I thought you were able to change it in the store edit?
