Sorry to hear you are having some trouble with the SSL certificate for your website. Can you clarify what you mean by "found that the Enable SSL box was unchecked. I clicked on the box and it seemed to be working"?

 

The SSL option can be found within the site editor under the Settings tab. Just so that I'm on the same page as you, the SSL enable option is a toggle, not a checkbox. Did you, or do you, see a horizontal toggle that you can turn on/off? 

 

As far as the actual certificate goes, it seems the SSL  was stuck configuring. II was able to override this, and the site should be loading securely now. 😊

 

Please let me know if you see something different from your end.
