woocommerce sad faces in Square Payment fields

Howdy everyone.

I have integrated Square with WooCommerce in a few sites now and I have never seen this issue before:

Has anyone else seen this and, if so, what is the solution? I have followed the same integration procedures with the WooCommerce Square plugin and checked the profile details etc. Can't figure it out.

Looks like it was a temporary problem as another one of my customer sites had the same issue, but when I freshed the page, the fields went back to normal. Refreshed the browser page on the site shown in the image and it was suddenly okay as well.

Is this a known problem when the gateway can't connect or something? I'll have to inform my clients and we may need to put it in the FAQs on their sites.

@guerre64 Glad to hear everything is back up and running as normal and thanks for sharing the screenshot.

@Woo_Phil have you run into this at all? If so, is there a specific action or issue that triggers this?

No, that is not an issue that we have ever seen happen before.
