Can I use Square if I have an account in Canada?

Canadian company heading to US for trade show. Square is set up for Canadian funds. Can I use Square to take payment at this trade show in the US and if so, will they be charged in US funds. If I charge $400USD, are they charged $400USD or is it charged in CDN then converted back to USD? Thanks

unfortunately, due to the agreements with the credit card companies and other restrictions, you will not be able to use your Canadian account in the US or vice versa for that matter. many companies open a Square account in multiple Square areas of service so that they can still process in situations like these.
