Hi,
With the normal Square POS, you can use "Other" as an option to receive payment using a bank terminal pin pad. Will this be an option with Square for Restaurants? If so, will it integrate like other POS systems like Touch Bistro do where it will close the table's bill once they have paid using the third party pin pad?
Thank you

Just to try and clarify, are you looking to take payments from a separate credit card processor and then record the transaction in Square for Restaurants? Or are you trying to use a pin pad hooked up to Square to make a transaction on?
If it is the first question then Yes you can record (not process) credit card transactions using the other payment type in Square for Restaurants unless that payment type isn't in there like in Square POS, @katieand can you confirm it is? If it is the second question then No you can't hook up a pin pad to Square.
Hello hello!
It looks like you're is located in Canada @Aubade_Coffee and unfortunately Square for Restaurants is currently only available in the US. But to answer your question, yes you can select the 'Other' payment type with Square for Restaurants to record a payment that is actually processed outside of Square. If this app becomes available in Canada we'll announce it!
But in the meantime you can use the TouchBistro integration with Square Point of Sale in Canada! This TouchBistro article has information about getting started but you might want to email them directly at support@touchbistro.com to confirm the workflow for recording other payments.
