Need to specify delivery area by zip code and indicate delivery days not hours

We need to specify delivery area by zip code and indicate delivery days. Here's why:

  • There are too many places where a mile radius includes areas we are not delivering to and omits areas we are delivering to.
  • We want to group our deliveries to a given zip code range so that we can optimize our travel. For example: zip codes north of the shop on Tuesday and Thursday, South of the shop on Friday, etc.
  • We have a cut-off for a days delivery which we communicate in store emails and on our website. Currently when someone orders the system adds our order prep time to our delivery window and adds that to their order time and communicates a time window which does not match our delivery plan.
  • The delivery window reads very strangely on the customer's order confirmation.

Thanks for the feedback. The team is working on the next round of updates for the delivery service, although I'm not sure if the specific requests you've mentioned are part of it.
