I am wondering if I can charge the card with out running it if I gathered all the on the card
I am a catering business and would like to see if I can charge the card if I gather all the info from the individual name ,card # ,exp , security number ( on the back of card )
will I be able to run it with out physically having the card in my possession ? Please advise

All you need is cc number, exp date, cvv code and zip code... When typing in amount press charge and their will be an option to enter information... Hope this helps!!!

You can charge a card without swiping it. Keep in mind that it will cost more than swiping though. https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5176-manually-key-in-card-payments-without-the-square-reader

Had a credit card in my hand taking info to manually input later. Forgot
to get the cvv no. Outdoor art show. Customer long gone. I have name
signature zip code and card number. Is there any help. Or hope!? 😮

Hi @Mcmofsc - thanks for making your first post to the community.
When hand keying a payment card, we require all of the following:
- Complete card number
- Expiration date
- Security code/CVV
- Billing ZIP code
Unfortunately, there won't be a way to process this payment without the CVV. Sorry for that. If you were able to get any contact information from this customer, try reaching out to them to resolve this payment.
