You can get the RSS feed of your blog by right-clicking on the RSS icon in your blog sidebar, then copying the URL from that.

Hi, do I have to set the RSS feed up at all... I can;t seem to 'right click' it on my macbook... When I click on it it says Add “www.livingfree.eu” to Shared Links?  so I press ADD and then it just dies... What do I need to do please??

Thanks Trish x

An RSS feed for your blog is created automatically, so you don't need to do anything special to make one.

Is the blog page http://www.livingfree.eu/blog.html? If so this is your RSS feed URL:

http://www.livingfree.eu/1/feed

Hi Adam! Sorry I'm late to this party and reopening the thread. I am trying to get my rss feed to work on Amazon Author Central, using https://www.hublerfamilybusiness.com/1/feed and I am getting this error:

Error

The URL is invalid or this is the web page URL not the RSS URL. Please check for spelling or other errors.

Here's what it asks for:

Author Central supports all versions of RSS and Atom blog feeds. Posts created before you add this feed will not be imported. If you want previous posts to appear on the Author Page, please re-post them on your home blog.

Example RSS feed URLs:

I tried also with http. Do you have any ideas or experience with Amazon Author Central? Please also feel free to email me at hublergroup@gmail.com.

Thank you!
Emily

It looks like something is breaking the formatting of your RSS feed, @HublerGroup. I would check the last 10 posts to your blog for any broken code - I'm assuming you probably have an embed code in one of them, right?

The only elements used in our blogs are text, image, and read more. I'm looking through to confirm, but are there any other reasons this would happen?

Thanks!

Any time I've seen this in the past it was broken code that caused it; sometimes it was a bad link and not an embed code element.

On your live site, go to your Articles page and right-click the RSS icon in your blog sidebar, then copy the URL that it links to. That'll be the URL of your RSS feed.

I get error code from Sticher, that no email is attached to the RSS feed?

I'm not familiar with Stitcher. Is it saying that an email address should be included within the RSS feed xml itself?

All I get is:

NO RSS reader is installed.

Safari can't open "feed:https://www.darylglinntanner.com/2/feed" because safari can't display RSS feeds. Search on the app store

Hi Adam

I am needing an RSS feed for Amazon too.

I don't have a blog sidebar -- so can't try what you suggested.

Another way?

dawngracekelly.com

Thanks

Dawn

Thanks for your post, @dawngrace. This should be the RSS feed URL for the blog in your site nav for that site: https://www.dawngracekelly.com/3/feed

Excellent, thanks Adam!

I am wondering if I could've found that myself somehow?

No problem! The format is always the same; only the number will change depending on how many blogs you've had on the site. The first blog page you add with have 1/feed, the second blog, 2/feed, etc.
